The SportDOG Brand® YardTrainer 350 combines the simplicity of a basic e-collar training system with the versatility and ruggedness of a more advanced sporting dog trainer. With up to 300 yards of range, the compact SD-350 is more than adequate for basic training while also giving you the confidence to fix control problems at a distance. The transmitter allows instant correction-level adjustments – eight levels in both continuous and momentary modes – while a tone feature allows constant communication. The SD-350 is a true all-weather system, with a completely waterproof transmitter and collar receiver that feature SportDOG Brand’s exclusive DryTek™ technology. Long-life NiMH rechargeable batteries are convenient and provide up to 40 hours of use between charges, and a low-battery indicator ensures you’re never left with a dead e-collar or transmitter.

Product is great however customer service is exemplary.
I emailed customer service on Thursday about tuning a replacement transmitter, the dog ate the antenna off the original, smart dog, and got clear instructions on how to pair transmitter to the receiver on Saturday morning. That's a very pleasant surprise now days. I will always repeat purchase from businesses that treat me that way. It's about trust.

Changed my relationship with my dog.
I struggled with a headstrong female English style Lab until I bought the Yardtrainer. We worked through commands and when she understood the expectation I would work with her in a new setting. I would give the command and, if she didn't respond, I would give the tone and a couple of counts later the single 'nick' at a moderate setting. We only had to practice this a couple of times. Now, when she needs a tune-up, only the tone is required. She has never been given the continuous shock.

My only complaint is that two years on the range has dropped substantially. I presume that the transmitter battery is not what it once was. It seems to hold a charge but the range has dropped to perhaps 10 yards. Still, for under $200 it has been a fine investment.
