Good product. Would recommend to friends.
Has performed flawlessly (once I read the instructions and set the stimulation range to medium!). I was worried about the rubber plugs to the charging ports, but my pup has worn this collar on a LOT of water retrieves over the year and a half I've owned this collar, even in salt, and I've not had a problem. I have not experienced the battery problems of some of the other reviewers. Would give 5 stars but the rubber cover on the transmitter's side button came off, so now I'm concerned about water intrusion there. My lab and I boat in canoes, rafts, motorboats, wade mountain streams, and I'm bit of a klutz - so the transmitter WILL eventually experience submersion:)

good product.
Awesome E coller for my 9 month old yellow lab,on level 2 she yelps.good quality,easy to program,very good training tips.having chickens and sheep with a hyper lab makes it very hard to train for a bird dog.having the wetland hunter makes it a lot easier to train.highly recommend it for anyone.

Good unit short battery life
Pros: I love this unit I use it for all type of hunting and training applications. I use these collars to fine tune behavior. Works great in all weather conditions. Cons: Does not hold a charge long even if I don't use it. I just charged the e collar 3 days ago no use and its already dead. I haven't had the collar for more than 9 months. Other than the battery life this would be a 5 star collar and I would recommend it if the batteries cold be replaced.

Sorry to hear about the issues you've had with the batteries in your trainer, Gary! Please note that, if the units are stored or unused for an extended period of time, it is recommended to give them a full charge about once every 6 weeks or so to keep the batteries from deteriorating. This is not due to the design of these particular batteries, but is a necessity with all rechargeable batteries. That being said, please give us a call if your batteries are failing so quickly, as we do have replacement batteries available and both your trainer and the replacement batteries carry warranties.
