Great product.
Great product. I would recommend it to everybody. I have a 6 moth old lab with a lot of energy and a open gate not a good combination. With the sport dog collar there are no worries. He is now picking up on what I ask him to do very quickly and I only use vibrate. I have had several labs and used this collar and it makes training so much easier for myself and my labs.

Bought the unit in February to train my four month old black Labrador , come September have retriever working in the lake and colar shorts beeping posiable shocking my dog well he is retrieving decoy. Not sure about shock cause was on dog about twenty yards out in the lake. Sure hope he isn't scared by the experience. Ya buy quality stuff and would expect some what of a quality product in return. Used unit in water once. Over all use was on dry land and a hand full of times pryer to the malfunction. Would like to se how they will resolve the problem.

SPORTDOG RESPONSE: Hey Jeff. Sorry to hear you are experiencing trouble with your system. We're having a little bit of trouble really understanding what is going on but we are going to contact you to resolve the issue. The system is waterproof and submersible so it sounds like the correction button is just being pushed accidentally. Thanks!

Camo 425
This collar works like it should. I can't review much on the distance due to the fact that the dog never really gets too far from the blind, but she has not got out of range yet. The actual product and function is top notch. The stimulation goes from just a small "nudge" to an attention grabber if you start turning it up. My collar itself has been through hell and back now for 3 years. It's been used and abuse daily from being left outside, the back of the truck, the boat, salt water marsh, to fresh water rice fields and still works like a charm. I had to replace the battery at the 2 year mark, but as I mentioned it is constantly being left on, used daily and recharged so 2 years of hard use on a rechargeable battery is understandable in my book. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is as someone else mentioned in the replacement collar review, the buckle corrodes and falls apart. Luckily mine fell apart and came off the dog in the yard in the off season so I did not lose it. But I would deffinantly play a few extra dollars upfront for some stainless hardware which would make the collar unstoppable. Overall, great collar, great quality and I would deffinantly recommend this to a friend.
